Two motorcyclists killed in crash on Snake Pass

Two motorcyclists have died in a crash on the A57 Snake Pass.

The incident happened on Sunday August 11.

Police said it happened on the stretch of the road between Ladybower Reservoir and Glossop.

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the scene.

The victims have been named as a 50-year-old man from Sheffield and a 52-year-old man from Chesterfield.

Their families have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
