The Boston Celtics have taken an early lead in the 2024 NBA Finals, defeating the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 in Game 1 on Wednesday night. The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who scored 28 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown added 22 points. Kristaps Porzingis led the Mavericks with 20 points, while Luka Doncic added 18 points and 9 rebounds.
Depth Proves Key for Celtics
Boston's depth proved to be a major factor in the game, as they were able to get contributions from a number of players.
